Aquaculture Pump Controller

Aquaculture pumps can be divided into drainage/irrigation pumps, aeration pumps, and sludge pumps according to different uses.
Drainage/irrigation pumps and aeration pumps need to run frequently, especially aeration pumps that need to run continuously under S1 duty at high brood density. In some aquaculture industries, the cost of electricity consumption accounts for 50% of the total operating costs. Therefore, it is very important for the aquaculture industry to improve the efficiency of pumps and reduce power consumption.

Aquaculture Pump Controller

The reliability of the aquaculture pump system and the visibility of the operating status are also very important, otherwise some failures may cause large-scale death of aquatic organisms and cause great losses.
Similarly, the controller of aquaculture pump combined with the use of high-efficiency motors should achieve the purpose of improving efficiency and reducing power consumption. It also needs intelligent, visual control and improved reliability.

Aquaculture Pump Controller

HF Motion’s aquaculture pump controllers have the following features:

  1. Flexible timing: You can set a daily cycle time system, or a cycle time system with different flow rates can be set for each running period.
  2. Variable flow control: Variable frequency speed control + timing can realize variable flow operation mode instead of simple start and stop to reduce energy consumption.
  3. External input: flow sensor, water level sensor, temperature monitoring, water dissolved oxygen sensor, etc., can be connected to maintain the water level and normal water body. When the temperature of the water rises or the oxygen content of the water drops, the aeration pump will automatically increase it’s speed to maintain the oxygen content.
  4. Automation: Reasonable timing setting, coupled with various sensor signal returns, can realize the automatic operation of the pump, and also reduce the labor cost for the aquaculture industry.
  5. Remote control: WiFi/LAN module is optional to realize mobile phone APP operation for remote control and monitoring.
  6. Energy efficiency: variable flow operation, combined with high-efficiency BLDC motor, can reduce energy consumption by more than 50% compared to an AC induction motor without speed control.
As mentioned above, in some aquaculture industries, the cost of electricity consumption will account for 50% of the total operating costs. The solar power input is integrated into the aquaculture pump controller and the hybrid drive solution of solar and AC is adopted. When the sunlight conditions are good during the day make full use of solar energy and avoid high electricity bills during peak periods of electricity consumption.
